Efficacy observation of integrated therapy of traditional Chinese and western medicine on lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion with syndrome of kidney deficiency and blood stasis
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of modified Liuwei Dihuang decoction and mecobalamin tablets and dexketoprofen capsules on lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion with syndrome of kidney deficiency and blood stasis.Methods:60 cases of eligible patients with lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion were selected and divided into two groups by random number table method,30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with mecobalamin tablets and dexketoprofen capsules,while the treatment group was treated plus with modified Liuwei Dihuang decoction on the basis of control group.2 weeks as 1 course of treatment.Both groups were treated for 2 courses of treatment.Visual analogue scale(VAS)score,Japanese Orthopaedic Association Scores(JOA),Oswestry disability index(ODI)score of patients were compared between two groups before and after treatment.Results:The total effective rate of treatment group was 90.00%,which was higher than 66.67%of control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of VAS,JOA and ODI of treatment group were significantly improved(P<0.05),and the improvement of treatment group was better than that of control group(P<0.05).The recurrence rate of treatment group was 7.40%,which was lower than 25.00%of control group,and the comparative difference between two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The clinical efficacy of modified Liuwei Dihuang decoction and mecobalamin tablets and dexketoprofen capsules on lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion with syndrome of kidney deficiency and blood stasis is batter,which can relieve the symptoms of lumbar pain of patients and improve their quality of life.
