Efficacy observation of integrated therapy of traditional Chinese and western medicine on vestibular migraine with syndrome of hyperactivity of liver yang
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Tianma Gouteng yin and western medicine on vestibular migraine with syndrome of hyperactivity of liver yang.Methods:42 cases of patients with vestibular migraine with syndrome of hyperactivity of liver yang were divided into two groups by random number table method,21 cases in each group.The control group was treated with western medicine,while the treatment group was treated plus with Tianma Gouteng yin on the basis of control group,and both groups were treated for 4 weeks.TCM syndrome score,Visual Analog Scale(VAS)score,Headache Impact Test-6(HIT-6)score,Dizziness Handicap Inventory(DHI)score,Vestibular Migraine Patient Assessment Tool and Handicap Inventory(VM-PATHI)score were compared between two groups before and after treatment.Results:The total effective rate of treatment group was 95.2%,which was significantly higher than 71.4%of control group,and the comparative difference between two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).TCM syndrome score,VAS score,HIT-6 score,DHI score and VM-PATHI score of treatment group were significantly lower than those of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The clinical efficacy of Tianma Gouteng yin and western medicine on vestibular migraine with syndrome of hyperactivity of liver yang is better,which can improve the clinical symptoms of patients.
