Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of modified Beimu Gualou powder and GP regimen on lung adenocarcinoma with syndrome of yin deficiency and toxic heat.Methods:52 cases of patients who met the diagnostic criteria for lung adenocarcinoma with syndrome of yin deficiency and toxic heat were randomly divided into two groups,26 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated with modified Beimu Gualou powder and GP regimen for chemotherapy, while the control group was treated only with GP regimen for chemotherapy.28 days as a cycle. After two continuous cycles,short-term objective efficacy, changes of clinical symptoms, physical signs score and Karnofsky score of patients were observed in two groups. Results:The total control rate was 69.23%in the treatment group and 53.85%in the control group, and the comparative difference between two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).After treatment, the scores of symptoms and physical signs of patients in two groups were decreased significantly, while Karnofsky score was increased, and the differences were statistically significant compared with that before treatment(P<0.05).Compared with control group, the scores of symptoms and physical signs of treatment group were decreased more obviously,Karnofsky score was improved more obviously, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The clinical efficacy of modified Beimu Gualou powder and GP regimen on lung adenocarcinoma with syndrome of yin deficiency and toxic heat is better, which can improve symptoms and physical signs and enhance the quality of life of patients.
