Approach to pathogenesis and treatment of early-onset ovarian dysfunction based on the theory of irregular menstruation due to three kinds of etiologies
In the Qing Dynasty,in Fuke Yuchi,Menstruation,Shen Jin-ao put forward that irregular menstruation was due to three kinds of etiologies,i.e.the first was spleen deficiency, the second was injury of Chong and Ren meridians, and the third was coagulated phlegm with blood stasis. It is believed that the pathogenesis of early-onset ovarian dysfunction is damage of spleen, and closely related to Chong and Ren meridians, liver, kidney and lung.Deficiency of kidney-essence and poor smooth Chong and Ren meridians affect ovarian function;or coagulated phlegm and blood stasis,as pathological products, cause the diseases. In the treatment, the idea of treating disease according to its origin and treating both symptoms and its root causes should be followed;it should be paid attention to tonifying the kidney and strengthening the spleen, regulating both liver qi and lung qi,strengthening healthy qi to eliminate pathogens as well as improving ovarian function while relieving symptoms.
