Efficacy observation of thunder-fire moxibustion on painful diabetic neuropathy with syndrome of blood stasis due to cold coagulation
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of thunder-fire moxibustion on painful diabetic neuropathy with syndrome of blood stasis due to cold coagulation.Methods:60 cases of eligible patients with painful diabetic neuropathy with syndrome of blood stasis due to cold coagulation were selected and randomly divided into two groups,30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with oral hypoglycemic drugs and mecobalamin tablets, while the treatment group was treated plus with thunder-fire moxibustion on the basis of control group.Visual Analogue Scale/Score(VAS),Toronto Clinical Scoring System(TCSS),TCM syndrome score, glycated albumin(GA),fasting blood glucose and C-peptide level of patients were observed in two groups before and after treatment. Results:After treatment in both groups,VAS score,TCSS score,TCM syndrome score and GA level were decreased, while C-peptide level was increased, and the improvement of treatment group was more significant than that of control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The clinical efficacy of thunder-fire moxibustion on painful diabetic neuropathy with syndrome of blood stasis due to cold coagulation is better.
