Efficacy observation of Jianpi Huatan formula and flunarizine on vertigo with syndrome of phlegm-dampness stagnating in middle-Jiao
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Jianpi Huatan formula and flunarizine on vertigo with syndrome of phlegm-dampness stagnating in middle-Jiao.Methods:100 cases of eligible patients with posterior circulation ischemic vertigo were selected and randomly divided into two groups,50 cases in each group.The control group was treated with flunarizine,while the treatment group was treated plus with Jianpi Huatan formula on the basis of control group.The clinical efficacy of patients was compared between two groups.Results:The total effective rate was 94.00％in the treatment group and 86.00％in the control group respectively,and the comparative difference between two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The indexes such as TCM syndrome score,Hamilton anxiety scale,Hamilton depression scale,etc.were improved in both groups after treatment(P＜0.05),and the treatment group was better than control group(P＜0.05).The levels of TC and LDL-C of treatment group were decreased after treatment significantly;while HDL-C was increased significantly,and the comparative difference in the group was statistically significant(P＜0.05),and the comparative difference between two groups was also statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The clinical efficacy of Jianpi Huatan formula and flunarizine on vertigo with syndrome of phlegm-dampness stagnating in middle-Jiao is better,which can improve the clinical symptoms of patients and relieve the anxiety.
