Temporal arteritis is caused by pathogenic wind invading,stagnation of qi and blood stasis,stirring endo-wind and endopathogen combining with exopathogen.The occurrence of temporal arteritis is dominated by exo-wind,and at the same time,it is intermingled with other disease-causing pathogens,which shows the different clinical symptoms.The treatment is often based on the theory of wind,which mainly is to disperse exo-wind,and takes into account nourishing blood with expelling wind,calming endo-wind and regulating qi movement of Zang-Fu organs.
