Efficacy observation of Dingxuan mixture and auricular point sticking on vertigo with syndrome of phlegm-turbidity obstructing middle-jiao
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Dingxuan mixture and auricular point sticking on vertigo with syndrome of phlegm-turbidity obstructing middle-jiao.Methods:60 cases of eligible patients with vertigo with syndrome of phlegm-turbidity obstructing middle-jiao were selected and randomly divided into two groups,30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with betahistine mesylate,while the treatment group was treated plus with Dingxuan mixture and auricular point sticking on the basis of control group.For both groups,the treatment cycle was 2 weeks.The clinical efficacy was compared between two groups.Results:The total effective rate of treatment group was 96.67％,which was higher than 73.33％of control group,and the comparative difference between two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05).In both groups after treatment,TCM syndrome scores and DHI scale score were decreased compared with pre-treatment(P＜0.05),and each score of treatment group was lower than that of control group,and the comparative difference between two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The clinical efficacy of Dingxuan mixture and auricular point sticking on vertigo with syndrome of phlegm-turbidity obstructing middle-jiao is better,which can obviously reduce the severity of TCM syndromes and vertigo.
