Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Baigui Zhitong decoction on acute gouty arthritis with syndrome of stagnation of damp-heat.Methods:60 cases of patients with acute gouty arthritis were selected and randomly divided into two groups,30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with oral colchicine tablets,while the treatment group was treated plus with Baigui Zhitong decoction on the basis of control group.For both groups,the course of treatment was 7 days.The clinical efficacy was compared between two groups.Results:The total clinical effective rate of treatment group was 96.67％,while that of control group was 93.33％,and the comparative difference between two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05).In both groups after treatment,VAS score,uric acid,erythrocyte sedimentation rate,C-reactive protein,tumor necrosis factor,IL-1 β level and TCM syndrome score were decreased(P＜0.05),and the treatment group was lower than control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The clinical efficacy of Baigui Zhitong decoction on acute gouty arthritis with syndrome of stagnation of damp-heat is better.
