Research and Application of Energy-saving Optimization Design for a 330 MW Steam Turbine in a Thermal Power Plant
The annual load of steam turbine units in a thermal power plant decreases gradually, and the heat consumption exceeds the design value, resulting in poor economic performance of the units. To improve this situation, this article optimizes the units, including replacing the high and medium pressure steam seals and the low-pressure cylinder flow passage. After optimization, the annual average load of the thermal power plant is around 60%THA,and the coal consumption of power supply reduces to 329.30 g/(kW·h),which is about 14.91 g/(kW·h)lower than that before optimization. The actual operation data shows that after adopting this scheme, the rated output of the steam turbine unit increases under different load conditions while the coal consumption for power supply decreases significantly, which greatly improves the economy of the unit, enhances the shift peak load capacity of the unit, and has certain guiding role for the thermal power plant to achieve better economic benefits.
