FPGA-based Intelligent Orchard Soil Environmental Information Acquisition System
A complete smart orchard monitoring and control system is needed to promote the development of intelligent orchards in China.A design scheme based on FPGA for a smart orchard soil collection system is proposed,which mainly includes soil information collection,data transmission,data storage,data processing,and other aspects.The overall design of the system is presented,including the selection of various devices for the hardware part and the language,development software,AD conversion,and simulation for the software part.To simplify the circuit design,FPGA is utilized as the control core to make full useof its storage function,and sensors is utilized to collect soil moisture information.The AD converter converts the analog signal into a digital signal and displays the result on an LCD screen,the collected data is then transmitted to the main module and irrigation is implemented through judgment.In summary,the collection system conforms to the development trend of modern smart orchard.
