Method of Current Distortion Suppression for Vienna Rectifier Under Unbalanced Grid
Vienna rectifier with simple structure and high-power density, which is widely used in industrial applications such as aviation power supplies and electric vehicle charging systems. The conventional control strategy will lead the input current zero-crossing distortion when the Vienna rectifier is operated under the unbalanced grid.To solve this problem, the modulation wave interval clamping control strategy is proposed. The proposed method clamps the reference voltage to zero by superimposing a zero-sequence component in the clamping interval which can avoid the output of erroneous bridge arm voltage. Thus, the input current distortion can be suppressed, and the power quality can be improved. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed strategy is verified by experiments.
