"Being modest and prudent,free from arrogance and rashness"has always been the fine style of the Communist Party of China(CPC).The constructive logic of this virtue should be understood from three dimensions.From the perspective of cultural ori-gin,the CPC has not only continued the rational core of the virtue of being modest esteemed by the excellent traditional Chinese cul-ture,but also absorbed the theoretical wisdom of the classical Marxist writers in explaining the character of modesty.From the perspec-tive of historical logic,the CPC has regarded this fine style as the spiritual bulwark to keep a clear head in the face of victory at differ-ent times,which has provided the spiritual impetus for continuously creating the great historical cause and promoted the Chinese revolu-tion,construction and reform to constantly achieve new victories.From the perspective of contemporary values,inheriting and carrying forward scientifically the virtue of being modest by the CPC in the new era is the inherent requirement for implementing and developing the people's view of history,the necessary condition for strengthening the comprehensive and disciplined governance of the Party,the realistic guarantee for improving the ability to keep pace with the times,and the spiritual bond for rallying forces to work together.
