Research on the Impact of Digital Economy on Common Prosperity:Empirical Analysis Based on Panel Regression Model
The digital economy has become the new driving force of China's economic growth and a key force in realizing common pros-perity.The panel data of 31 provinces in China from 2011 to 2020 are selected to measure the level of common prosperity by principal component method and entropy value method,analyze the impact of digital economy on common prosperity,explore the indirect effect of R&D investment and technological innovation as intermediary variables by intermediary effect model,and finally analyze the hetero-geneity.The study finds that the digital economy has a positive impact on the common prosperity,there are temporal and regional heter-ogeneity in the impact of the digital economy on the common prosperity,and R&D investment and technological innovation are impor-tant mechanisms that affect the level of common prosperity.Based on this,it is proposed to establish and improve the digital economy supervision mechanism,consolidate the digital infrastructure,and implement differentiated digital economy development strategies.
