International Challenges and Coping Strategies for the Development of China's Photovoltaic Industry in the Context of Intensified International Green Competition
The global green and low-carbon transformation has become an irreversible trend,and the international green competition a-round clean energy and its related supply chain is intensifying.China's photovoltaic(PV)industry has been developing rapidly and be-come a global leader.Meanwhile,the industry is confronted with pressure and containment from the Western countries,particularly the United States,by way of restrictions on import and export,raw materials,key minerals,technological competition and intellectual proper-ty,as well as increasing tariffs on products of the photovoltaic industry to hinder China's export trade and inhibit the development of the Chinese photovoltaic market.Against this backdrop China needs to adopt a more proactive response strategy,adhering to technological and development innovation paradigm internally and expanding channels of key mineral resources externally.Meanwhile,China should enhance its international discourse power,promote the green"Belt and Road"international co-construction action,build the photovoltaic industry chain through multi-channel and multi-level international cooperation to expand its oversea markets.
