Development and feasibility verification of a device for simulation experiment of reinforcement and reconstruction in hydrate-bearing formation
In order to carry out research on reservoir stability during hydrate drilling and production,an experimental device for reinforcement and reconstruction of hydrate-bearing formation was developed, including a reservoir simulation system,a tubing pulling system,a fracturing and grouting simulation system,a solidification and reconstruction evaluation system, and an experimental gas recovery system. To verify the performance of the device,a simulation experiment was conducted using quartz sands and methane gas to simulate the hydrate-bearing formation. The feasibility of fracturing and grouting solidifica-tion transformation of hydrate layers was verified by the experiments of reinforcement and transformation within the layers. The results show that the device can be used to conduct simulation studies of different process during hydrate drilling and pro-duction,such as fracturing, formation reinforcement and reconstruction, hydrate production test under different temperature and pressure conditions, and hydrate stability in cementing, which can provide important guidelines for long-term and safe production of hydrate reservoirs,as well as safe cementing construction in drilling through hydrate layers.
