Development effect analysis and process parameter optimization of single horizontal well SAGD
The single horizontal well steam assisted gravity drainage(SAGD)technology is a promising replacement technology for improving the development effect of thin layer extra heavy oil reservoirs. However, the specific development effect was great-ly affected by reservoir characteristics, process parameters, etc. The CMG software was used to conduct numerical simulations on the development of the single horizontal well SAGD in thin layer extra heavy oil reservoirs,to clarify the influence of reser-voir characteristics on the development effect of the single horizontal well SAGD.Based on the parameters of the Haqian 22 block reservoir, the process parameters such as preheating cycles, the SAGD perforation steam injection length, and the steam injection speed were optimized. The results show that the single horizontal well SAGD can achieve effective development of thin layer extra heavy oil reservoirs, with a final recovery rate of 21%,but the steam to oil ratio for oil recovery is only about 0.082.When the permeability is not less than 2530×10-3 μm2,the porosity is not less than 30.3%,and the oil saturation is not less than 65%,the single horizontal well SAGD can achieve good application results. The optimal single horizontal well SAGD steam stimulation preheating cycle is 8,with a toe end steam injection length of 100 m and a steam injection speed of 100 m3/d.
