Study on the clinical effect of manual massage+thunder-fire moxibustion combined with electrical stimulation biofeedback in the treatment of pelvic floor myofascial pain
Objective To analyze the therapeutic effect of manual massage+lightning moxibustion combined with electrical stimulation biofeedback on pelvic floor myofascia pain. Methods 100 patients with pelvic floor myofascial pain were selected and divided into two groups with 50 cases in each group according to random number table method. The control group received electrical stimulation biofeedback treatment, and the observation group received manual massage+lightning fire moxibustion combined with electrical stimulation biofeedback treatment.Subjective visual analogue scale(VAS),pelvic floor muscle tenderness VAS and pelvic floor surface electromyography were compared between the two groups. Results The VAS scores of subjective pain and pelvic floor muscle tenderness after treatment in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the average amplitude of pre-resting potential, rapid contraction for 10 s,durable contraction for 60 s and post-resting potential in both groups were improved compared with that before treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion The treatment of pelvic floor myofascial pain by manual massage+thunderfire moxibustion combined with electrical stimulation biofeedback is beneficial to improve pelvic floor muscle strength and significantly reduce pain symptoms.
