Analysis of HPV results in cervical cancer screening in the Alar region of Xinjiang
Objective To analyze the results of human papillomavirus(HPV)testing in cervical cancer screening in the Alar region of Xinjiang. Methods 9791 healthy women who underwent cervical cancer screening were selected as the research subjects, and 13 high-risk genotypes of HPV16,18,31,33,35,39,45,51,52,56,58,59,and 68 were tested. The test results were observed. Results Among the 9791 tested individuals, the total positive detection rate of HPV was 10.69%.Among them, there was no statistically significant difference in the detection rate between the Han ethnic group and the Uyghur ethnic group(P>0.05)The positive detection rate at the age of 50 was significantly higher than other age groups(P<0.05);The positive detection rate of single infection was significantly higher than that of multiple infections(P<0.05);The highest detection rate of HPV subtypes for single infection is 52,followed by 16,58,and 66.HPV type 52 is more common in the age group>50 years old;HPV types 39,31,and 51 are more common in the age range of 31 to 40 years old,HPV types 45 and 35 are more common in the age range of 21 to 30 years old,and HPV type 56 is more common in the age range of 41 to 50 years old. Conclusion The HPV infection rate in the Alar region of Xinjiang is at a moderate level nationwide, with no significant ethnic differences.Based on the distribution of HPV types in the region, the vaccination rate should be increased to promote HPV infection prevention and control.
