Study on diagnostic value of two kinds of color ultrasonography in torsion of ovarian cyst pedicle
Objective To study the clinical value of abdominal and vaginal color ultrasonography in diagnosing torsion of ovarian cyst pedicle. Methods 64 cases of torsion of ovarian cyst pedicle were selected, all of which were confirmed by operation and pathological examination. All patients were diagnosed by transabdominal and transvaginal color ultrasonography before surgery, and the diagnostic accuracy of the two kinds of ultrasonography was compared. Results The diagnostic accuracy of transvaginal ultrasonography was 95.3%,higher than that of transabdominal ultrasonography(82.8%)(P<0.05).The misdiagnosis rate of transvaginal ultrasonography was significantly lower than that of transabdominal ultrasonography(P<0.05).Transvaginal color ultrasound images showed mass of different sizes and cystic masses near the cyst, strong signals in the torsion pedicle vessels, and significant mobility in the masses connected to the abdomen.Abdominal color ultrasound images showed strong mixed echoes at the cyst site.In terms of mass types, mainly solid masses or simple echoless masses, and most of the masses were in the lower abdomen, with a diameter of >5.6 cm,poor internal fluoroscopy, and obvious free fluid dark areas. Conclusion Compared with transabdominal color ultrasound, transvaginal color ultrasound is more accurate in diagnosing torsion of ovarian cyst pedicle and has clinical application value.
