Survey on reproductive pressure and quality of life in infertile women of different age groups
Objective To explore the reproductive pressure and quality of life of infertile women of different age groups.Methods Select 360 infertile women and conduct a survey using the fertility problem inventory(FPI)and fertility quality of life questionnaire(FertiQol)to evaluate their reproductive pressure and quality of life in different age groups.Results The reproductive pressure of infertile women in rural areas is much greater than that of infertile women in urban areas(P<0.05);The reproductive pressure of infertile women below undergraduate level is greater than that of infertile women above undergraduate level(P<0.05).The social attention,sexual attention,relationship attention,and parental role needs scores of young infertile women were lower than those of older infertile women(P<0.05).The physical and mental relationships,social relationships,environment,tolerance scores,and total scores of young infertile women were higher than those of older infertile women(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared to young infertile women,older infertile women face greater reproductive pressure and lower quality of life.Clinical response should strengthen psychological intervention and social information support for elderly infertile women,while increasing health education in emotional,physiological,and behavioral aspects,in order to reduce their reproductive pressure and improve their quality of life.
