Application of delayed umbilical cord ligation in natural delivery
Objective To investigate the application value of delayed umbilical cord ligation in natural delivery. Methods A total of 60 natural parturients were selected as the study objects, and were divided into control group and study group according to random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was given immediate cord ligation and the study group was given delayed cord ligation.Blood routine and immunoglobulin indexes were compared between the two groups. Results Two hours after umbilical cord ligation, there was no significant difference in hemoglobin index and erythrocyte specific volume between the two groups(P>0.05).At 3 days after birth, the hemoglobin index and erythrocyte specific volume levels of neonates in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Immediately after umbilical cord ligation, there were no significant differences in the levels of IgA,IgM and IgG between the two groups(P>0.05).At 14 days after birth, the levels of IgA and IgM in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the levels of IgG were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Delayed umbilical cord ligation technique has good effect in natural delivery, can improve newborn blood routine index and immunoglobulin index, reduce the incidence of complications in infants, and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
