Application of ultrasound in labor process management
Ultrasound is a non-invasive examination method with advantages such as objectivity,reproducibility,and real-time imaging.It can accurately evaluate cervical dilation,fetal orientation,and fetal head position.It plays an important role in predicting delivery mode and duration,pre evaluation of vaginal surgery for delivery assistance,and vaginal trial delivery after cesarean section.In recent years,ultrasound has become a widely used tool in labor management,helping clinical doctors identify abnormal conditions during labor,make correct intervention decisions,and avoid adverse delivery outcomes.This article reviews the commonly used parameter indicators and application status of ultrasound in the labor process,and analyzes future research directions,in order to provide assistance for clinical doctors to use ultrasound for labor process management.
