Observation on the application effect of mepivacaine and ropivacaine in patient-controlled epidural analgesia after cesarean section
Objective To exploring the application effect of mepivacaine and ropivacaine in patient-controlled epidural analgesia after cesarean section. Methods 96 postpartum women who underwent cesarean section were selected and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 48 women in each group. The control group received patient-controlled epidural analgesia after cesarean section with mepivacaine, while the observation group received patient-controlled epidural analgesia after cesarean section with ropivacaine.Compare the satisfaction, pain score, incidence of adverse reactions,Bromage score, and number of compressions between two groups of parturients. Results There was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05)between the two groups in terms of maternal satisfaction, resting pain and exercise pain scores at 4,6,16,and 24 hours after surgery, incidence of adverse reactions, and Bromage scores at 4 and 8 hours after surgery. The number of compressions in the control group was(1.96±1.02)times,while in the observation group, the number of compressions was(2.02±1.00)times,with no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion The application of mepivacaine and ropivacaine in postoperative patient-controlled epidural analgesia for cesarean section women can alleviate maternal pain, have safety, improve Bromage score, and reduce the number of compressions. It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
