Comparison of the application effects of laparoscopic total hysterectomy and transvaginal total hysterectomy in the treatment of uterine fibroids
Objective To explore the therapeutic effects of laparoscopic total hysterectomy and transvaginal total hysterectomy on patients with uterine fibroids.Method 84 patients with uterine fibroids admitted to our hospital were selected as the research subjects. They were randomly divided into two groups using a random number table method, with 42 cases in each group. The control group was treated with total vaginal hysterectomy, while the experimental group was treated with laparoscopic total hysterectomy. The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared.Result The experimental group had shorter surgical time, mobilization time, and hospital stay compared to the control group, and the intraoperative bleeding was less than that of the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05);The total incidence of complications in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with transvaginal total hysterectomy, laparoscopic total hysterectomy can effectively shorten the surgical and hospitalization time of patients with uterine fibroids, improve surgical indicators, reduce the risk of postoperative complications, and have great benefits for postoperative recovery. It is worth promoting and applying in clinical practice.
