Analysis of the influencing factors and pregnancy outcomes of macrosomia
Objective To explore the relevant influencing factors and delivery outcomes of macrosomia. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 798 parturients in our hospital.399 parturients who gave birth to macrosomia were selected as the observation group, and 399 parturients who gave birth to normal body weight infants during the same period were selected as the control group. The influencing factors of macrosomia were analyzed, and the pregnancy outcomes of the two groups were compared. Results The risk factors of macrosomia were older, more times of delivery, overnutrition, weight of prenatal body, combined pregnancy with diabetes, delivery history of macrosomia,pregnancy>40 weeks, and family history of obesity(P<0.05).Education level(junior high school or above),physical activity(good),and regular prenatal checkups are protective factors for the development of macrosomia(P<0.05).The incidence of cesarean section, birth canal laceration, shoulder dystocia, fetal distress, and postpartum hemorrhage in the control group was lower than that in the observation group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion There are many influencing factors for the development of macrosomia, and regular prenatal checkups are of great significance in improving maternal and infant outcomes.Reasonable diet, appropriate exercise, and prevention of macrosomia have a certain promoting effect.
