Comparison of therapeutic effect and safety of insulin pump and multiple insulin injections on gestational diabetes
Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of insulin pump and multiple insulin injections in the treatment of pregnant women with diabetes. Methods 24 patients with gestational diabetes in our hospital were selected as research objects.Divide into two groups according to the random number table method, with 12 cases in each group.Patients in the multiple injection group received multiple subcutaneous insulin injections for treatment, while patients in the insulin pump group received continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion for treatment.Compare the blood glucose levels, incidence of hypoglycemia during medication, and pregnancy outcomes between the two groups of patients before and after medication. Results Before medication, there was no statistically significant difference in blood glucose levels between the two groups of patients(P>0.05).After medication, the levels of FBG,2 h PG,and HbAlc in the insulin pump group were significantly lower than those in the multiple injection group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of premature rupture of membranes between the two groups of patients(P>0.05).The incidence of hypoglycemia during medication in the insulin pump group was lower than that in the multiple injection group, and the natural delivery rate was higher than that in the multiple injection group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with multiple injections of insulin, insulin pump administration can effectively control the blood sugar level of pregnant women with diabetes, and the incidence of adverse reactions is lower. It can improve the natural delivery rate, and has higher clinical application and promotion value.
