Evaluation of the efficacy of intravenous chemotherapy with docetaxel combined with arterial embolization in the treatment of advanced cervical cancer
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of intravenous chemotherapy with docetaxel combined with arterial embolization in the treatment of advanced cervical cancer. Methods 108 patients with advanced cervical cancer admitted to our hospital were selected as the research subjects. They were randomly divided into two groups using a random number table method, with 54 cases in each group. The intravenous chemotherapy group received a combination of docetaxel and carboplatin chemotherapy regimen, while the combined treatment group received bilateral uterine artery infusion chemotherapy embolization on the basis of the intravenous chemotherapy group.Observe the recent efficacy and incidence of adverse reactions during treatment in two groups. Results The total effective rate of the combined treatment group in the short term was 96.30%,which was higher than 83.33%in the intravenous chemotherapy group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in adverse reactions between the combination therapy group and the intravenous chemotherapy group(P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of docetaxel and uterine artery embolization chemotherapy has a significant effect on the treatment of cervical cancer, which can synergistically enhance the efficacy, improve the anti-tumor effect, and do not increase toxic side effects. It is worth promoting and applying in clinical practice.
