Effect analysis of intraperitoneal hyperthermic chemotherapy combined with intravenous chemotherapy in the treatment of advanced ovarian cancer
Objective To investigate the effect of intraperitoneal hyperthermic chemotherapy combined with intravenous chemotherapy after surgery for advanced ovarian cancer. Methods A total of 72 patients with advanced ovarian cancer were selected as the study objects and divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method,36 cases in each group. The control group was treated with intravenous chemotherapy, and the observation group was treated with intraperitoneal hyperthermic chemotherapy combined with intravenous chemotherapy. The therapeutic effect, control of intraperitoneal effusion, quality of life and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of observation group was higher than that of control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of peritoneal effusion control in observation group was higher than that in control group(P<0.05).Before treatment, there was no significant difference in Karnofsky performance status(KPS)score between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the KPS score of observation group was higher than that of control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Peritoneal hyperthermic chemotherapy combined with intravenous chemotherapy is effective in the treatment of advanced ovarian cancer patients, which can control peritoneal fluid and improve the quality of life of patients, and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
