Clinical efficacy of progesterone assisted hysteroscopy in the treatment of multiple endometrial polyps
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of hysteroscopic surgery combined with progesterone in the treatment of multiple endometrial polyps. Methods 74 patients with multiple endometrial polyps in our hospital were selected as the study subjects and divided into two groups using a random number table method, with 37 cases in each group. The reference group received hysteroscopic surgery treatment, while the analysis group received hysteroscopic surgery combined with progesterone treatment, and the treatment effects of the two groups were compared. Results After 3 months,6 months, and 12 months of treatment, the hemoglobin levels in the analysis group were higher than those in the control group, the endometrial thickness was smaller than that in the control group, and the menstrual period was shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion For multiple endometrial polyps, the use of hysteroscopic surgery combined with progesterone treatment can help improve the patient's hemoglobin levels and endometrial thickness, shorten the menstrual period, and it is recommended to further promote clinical practice.
