Comparison of clinical effects between hysteroscopic cold knife resection and hysteroscopic bipolar electrocautery in the treatment of uterine adhesions
Objective To compare the clinical effects of hysteroscopic cold knife resection and hysteroscopic bipolar electrocautery in the treatment of intrauterine adhesions. Methods 122 patients with intrauterine adhesions in our hospital were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into two groups, with 61 cases in each group. The control group underwent hysteroscopic bipolar resection, while the experimental group underwent hysteroscopic cold knife resection. The surgical related conditions, recovery of uterine cavity morphology, treatment effectiveness, and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results The experimental group had shorter surgical time and hospital stay compared to the control group, with less intraoperative bleeding and absorption of uterine distension fluid compared to the control group(P<0.05);The excellent recovery rate of uterine cavity morphology and the total effective rate of treatment in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and the incidence of complications was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Hysteroscopic cold knife resection for the treatment of intrauterine adhesions can improve surgical related indicators, enhance treatment effectiveness, and reduce complications, which is worth promoting.
