The effect of combined use of cabetocin and oxytocin in preventing postpartum hemorrhage after cesarean section
Objective To explore the effect of combined use of cabetocin and oxytocin in preventing postpartum hemorrhage after cesarean section. Methods 80 cesarean section women in our hospital were selected as the research subjects and randomly divided into two groups, each with 40 cases. The control group was treated with oxytocin to prevent postpartum hemorrhage, while the combination group was treated with cabe oxytocin combined with oxytocin to prevent postpartum hemorrhage. The incidence of postpartum hemorrhage, dosage of oxytocin, and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage between the two groups(P>0.05);The bleeding volume at 2 hours and 24 hours after cesarean section in the combined group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05);The amount of oxytocin used in the combined group 24 hours after cesarean section was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05);The incidence of adverse reactions in the combination group was 7.5%,lower than the control group's 27.5%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Carbetine combined with oxytocin can prevent postpartum hemorrhage after cesarean section, reduce the amount of bleeding after cesarean section and the amount of oxytocin 24 hours after operation, and reduce the risk of water and sodium retention of puerpera after cesarean section, which is worth promotion and application.
