The value of Finkler ultrasound score combined with HE4 in the diagnosis and chemotherapy efficacy evaluation of elderly ovarian malignant tumors
Objective To explore the value of Finkler ultrasound score combined with human epididymal protein 4(HE4)in the diagnosis and chemotherapy efficacy evaluation of elderly ovarian malignancies. Methods 60 elderly patients with ovarian masses in our hospital were selected as the research subjects, and Finkler ultrasound score and HE4 detection were performed on them. The pathological diagnosis results were used as the gold standard to compare the diagnostic efficacy of the two methods.According to the results of the first chemotherapy, ovarian cancer patients were divided into a non responsive group and a chemotherapy responsive group, and the Finkler ultrasound score and HE4 concentration of the two groups were compared. Results Based on the pathological examination results as the gold standard,48 cases of malignant tumors and 12 cases of benign tumors were ultimately diagnosed; The AUC values of Finkler ultrasound score,HE4 detection, and combined detection for diagnosing ovarian malignant tumors were 0.82,0.87,and 0.90,respectively.The sensitivity and specificity of combined detection were as high as 91.67%and 83.33%,respectively;After chemotherapy, the Finkler ultrasound score and HE4 concentration in the responsive group were significantly lower than those in the non responsive group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of Finkler ultrasound score and HE4 has shown high value in the diagnosis and chemotherapy efficacy evaluation of elderly ovarian malignancies. This comprehensive evaluation method can more accurately determine the nature of the tumor and treatment response, providing important information for personalized treatment of elderly ovarian malignancies.
