Clinical significance of hysteroscopy in the diagnosis of abnormal uterine bleeding
Objective To explore the clinical significance of hysteroscopy in diagnosing abnormal uterine bleeding(AUB).Methods 120 AUB patients admitted to our hospital were selected as the study subjects, all of whom underwent transvaginal ultrasound and hysteroscopy. The pathological examination results were used as the gold standard to analyze the diagnostic value of hysteroscopy for AUB.Results The diagnostic accuracy of hysteroscopy in diagnosing AUB was 98.33%,which was higher than that of transvaginal ultrasound examination(92.50%,P<0.05).Moreover,there was no statistically significant difference in the diagnostic accuracy, etiological judgment accuracy, and lesion morphology display accuracy between hysteroscopy and pathological examination results(P>0.05).Conclusion Hysteroscopy has a high accuracy in diagnosing AUB,and can provide effective reference for precise diagnosis of the cause. At the same time,it can clearly display the morphology of the lesion and has definite application value.
