Clinical characteristics and risk factors for intrapartum cesarean section in pregnant women with preeclampsia
Objective To investigate the risk factors for intrapartum cesarean section in pregnant women with preeclampsia(PE).Methods 300 PE patients who underwent vaginal trial labor were selected as the study objects and were divided into a vaginal trial labor success group(n=177)and a cesarean section transfer group(n=123)according to the outcome of vaginal trial labor. The clinical data of the two groups were retrospectively analyzed and the data were statistically analyzed. Results The body mass index(BMI)of the vaginal trial labor success group was(26.25±0.99)kg/m2,which was lower than(29.13±1.12)kg/m2 of the cesarean section transfer group, the proportions of cicatricial uterus, fetal position in occipital transverse position and did not receive labor analgesia were lower than those of the cesarean section transfer group, the muscle wall thickness of lower uterine segment was higher than that of the cesarean section transfer group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The main risk factors of vaginal trial delivery to cesarean section in PE patients include fetal position, scarred uterus, labor analgesia, inferior uterine muscle wall thickness,BMI,etc.Doctors should accurately grasp the clinical characteristics of such patients, and actively intervene for those with risk factors of cesarean section transfer to ensure the safety of mother and child.
