Clinical effect of Kuntai Capsule combined with progesterone in the treatment of patients with climacteric syndrome
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of Kuntai Capsule combined with progesterone in the treatment of climacteric syndrome.Methods 80 patients with climacteric syndrome were selected as the study objects and were divided into the control group(n=40)and the study group(n=40)according to random number table method.The control group was treated with progesterone,and the study group was treated with Kuntai Capsule combined with progesterone.The hormone levels,endometrial thickness and clinical efficacy of the two groups were compared.Results After the use of drugs,the levels of luteinizing hormone(LH),follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH)and estradiol(E2)in the study group were(4.41±0.98)ng/ml,(3.71±0.74)IU/L and(271.15±20.49)pmol/L,respectively,which were better than(5.42±1.06)ng/ml,(5.42±0.86)IU/L and(210.73±19.76)pmol/L in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After the use of drugs,the endometrial thickness of the study group was(3.65±0.52)mm,which was significantly thicker than(2.71±0.46)mm of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After the use of drugs,the scores of psychological,physical,social and environmental of the quality of life scale in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After the use of drugs,the sleep duration,falling asleep time and night awakening times of the control group were better than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of side effects after using the drug between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion The climacteric syndrome patients treated with Kuntai capsule combined with progesterone have more stable hormone levels,thicker endometrium and better clinical effect.
