Effects of progesterone, progynova combined with electroacupuncture on modified Kupperman index score and sex hormone levels in the treatment of perimenopausal syndrome
Objective To comprehensively analyze the effects of progesterone, progynova combined with electroacupuncture on modified Kupperman index score and sex hormone levels in patients with perimenopausal syndrome. Methods 76 patients with perimenopausal syndrome were selected as the study objects and were divided into two groups by random number table method, with 38 cases in each group. The control group was treated with progesterone and progynova, and the study group was treated with electroacupuncture on the basis of the control group. The modified Kupperman index(KI)score and menopause-specific quality of life(MENQOL)score were compared between the two groups, and the sex hormone levels[estradiol(E2),follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH)]were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the KI and MENQOL scores in the study group were(15.59±5.15)points and(20.14±5.17)points,respectively,which were lower than(19.86±5.87)points and(24.20±5.82)points in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the FSH and LH levels in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the E2 level was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of progesterone, progynova combined with electroacupuncture in the treatment of perimenopausal syndrome has significant significance, which can reduce the symptoms of patients, promote the improvement of hormone levels, improve the quality of life and optimize the prognosis, and is worthy of wide application.
