Analysis of the influence of pethidine sedation and epidural analgesia on labor process of primipara
Objective To compare and analyze the effects of pethidine sedation and epidural analgesia during the incubation period of primipara. Methods 100 cases of primipara who gave birth in the hospital were selected as the research objects and were randomly divided into a control group and a study group, with 50 cases in each group.Parturients in the study group were sedated with pethidine during the incubation period, while parturients in the control group were given epidural analgesia during the incubation period. The first labor duration, second labor duration, total labor duration and labor outcome of the two groups were compared. Results The first, second and total stages of labor were(519.80±127.36)min,(52.50±12.36)min,(579.85±124.46)min,respectively,which were shorter than(661.40±156.66)min,(64.60±16.66)min and(753.28±219.65)min in the control group, and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The conversion rate of cesarean section in the study group was 1 case, and that in the control group was 7 cases. The rate of cesarean section in the study group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Pethidine sedation and epidural analgesia have a great effect on the labor process of primipara, and the first, second and total labor duration of pethidine sedation are significantly shortened.
