The effect of hypothyroidism during pregnancy on pregnancy outcomes and the evaluation of therapeutic effect of levothyroxine
Objective To observe the effect of hypothyroidism during pregnancy on pregnancy outcomes and the therapeutic effect of levothyroxine. Methods 160 pregnant women with hypothyroidism during pregnancy were selected as the study subjects, all of whom received levothyroxine treatment. The patients with pre-delivery thyroid-stimulating hormone(TSH)less than 2.5 mIU/L were included in the hypothyroidism control group, and those with greater than 2.5 mIU/L were included in the hypothyroidism uncontrolled group.160 healthy pregnant women in the same period were included in the normal delivery group. To observe the effect of hypothyroidism during pregnancy on pregnancy outcomes and the therapeutic effect of levothyroxine. Results There were 120 cases in the control group and 40 cases in the uncontrolled group. There were significant differences in pregnancy outcomes and neonatal outcomes among normal delivery group, hypothyroidism control group and uncontrolled group(P<0.05);the incidence of complications during pregnancy in the control group was 70.00%,higher than 5.00%in the control group, and the incidences of other adverse pregnancy outcomes and neonatal outcomes were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Hypothyroidism has adverse effects on pregnancy, effective levothyroxine treatment can improve pregnancy outcomes, clinical screening of thyroid function during pregnancy should be carried out, timely detection of hypothyroidism and thyroxine treatment.
