Cervical liquid-based cytology and clinicopathological analysis of cervical lesions
Objective To study the results of cervical liquid-based cytology and clinicopathological examination of cervical lesions. Methods 150 women who underwent physical examination in the hospital were selected as the study subjects, all of whom underwent cervical liquid-based cytology.According to the results, colposcopy was performed for patients with atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance(ASCUS)or low-grade cervical squamous intraepithelial lesions(LSIL),and the cervical lesion tissues were collected for pathological examination, and the pathological examination results were used as the basis for diagnosis of cervical lesions. The results of cervical liquid-based cytology and colposcopic pathological were analyzed. Results Among the 150 females, there were 40 cases of ASCUS,8 cases of atypical squamous cell hyperplasia(ASC-H),30 cases of LSIL,and 22 cases of high-grade cervical squamous cell hyperplasia(HSIL).Colposcopic pathological examination showed that there were 40 cases of low-grade intraepithelial lesions(CIN Ⅰ),41 cases of high-grade intraepithelial lesions(CIN Ⅱ,CIN Ⅲ),and 4 cases of cervical cancer. Conclusion Cervical liquid-based cytology can be used for preliminary screening of cervical lesions, but for those who are positive in the initial screening, colposcopic pathological examination is also required,in order to improve the detection rate of lesions and provide help for subsequent treatment.
