Diagnostic value of serum anti-Mullerian hormone and sex hormone detection in polycystic ovary syndrome
Objective To analyze the diagnostic value of anti-Mullerian hormone(AMH)and sex hormone detection in polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS).Methods 80 patients with PCOS were selected as the study group,in the same period,55 women were selected as the control group.Elbow venous blood was collected and serum AMH and sex hormone were detected according to the procedure. The differences between the two groups of detection items were analyzed, and the diagnostic efficiency of each item for PCOS was analyzed by ROC curve. Results The level of follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH)in the control group was(5.46±1.23)IU/L,which was higher than(6.13±1.54)IU/L in the study group, and the levels of luteinizing hormone(LH),LH/FSH and AMH were lower than those in the study group(P<0.05);there was no significant difference in estradiol levels between the two groups(P>0.05).ROC curve shows:Serum FSH,LH,LH/FSH,AMH and serum AMH had diagnostic value for PCOS(P<0.05),and the diagnostic efficacy of serum AMH for PCOS was higher than serum FSH,LH and LH/FSH,and the diagnostic efficacy of combined detection of both was higher than that of single index for PCOS.Conclusion Serum AMH and sex hormone have certain diagnostic value for PCOS,and when they are combined, the diagnostic efficiency of PCOS can be further improved.
