Effect of comprehensive nursing guided by protective motivation theory in patients with ovarian cancer undergoing chemotherapy
Objective To analyze the effect of comprehensive nursing guided by protective motivation theory in ovarian cancer chemotherapy. Methods 48 patients with ovarian cancer undergoing chemotherapy were selected as the study objects and were divided into a control group and an observation group by random number table method. The control group(n=24)received routine nursing, and the observation group(n=24)received comprehensive nursing guided by protective motivation theory. The nursing effects of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the scores of self-rating anxiety scale and self-rating depression scale in the observation group were(50.31±5.22)points and(53.21±5.16)points,respectively,which were lower than(57.62±4.55)points and(58.32±5.35)points in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the levels of prealbumin, transferrin, hemoglobin, total albumin and body mass in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total satisfaction of observation group was 95.83%,which was significantly higher than 75.00%of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The comprehensive nursing guided by protective motivation theory can improve the nutritional status of patients with ovarian cancer undergoing chemotherapy and enhance their satisfaction.
