Application effect of comprehensive nursing in the nursing of gestational diabetes mellitus
Objective To explore the effect of comprehensive nursing in the nursing of gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Methods 66 GDM patients were selected as the study objects and were divided into two groups according to random number table, with 33 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received comprehensive nursing. The blood glucose levels, maternal and infant adverse outcomes and satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results Before nursing, there were no significant differences in blood glucose indexes between the two groups(P>0.05);after nursing, the levels of fasting blood glucose and 2 h postprandial blood glucose in the observation group were(5.83±0.56)mmol/L and(10.63±0.75)mmol/L,respectively,which were lower than(6.71±0.58)mmol/L and(11.42±0.71)mmol/L in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse pregnancy outcome in the observation group was 3.03%,which was lower than 24.24%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction of the observation group was 96.97%,higher than 78.79%of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive nursing is effective in GDM nursing, which can improve blood glucose control, pregnancy outcome and patient satisfaction.
