Analysis of Down's screening results during mid-term pregnancy in Binhu District,Wuxi City from 2020 to 2022
Objective To analyze the results of mid pregnancy Down's syndrome screening in Binhu District,Wuxi City from 2020 to 2022.Methods 6000 mid pregnancy pregnant women in Binhu District,Wuxi City from 2020 to 2022 were selected as the observation subjects, all of whom underwent Down's screening, including testing their serum alpha fetoprotein(AFP)and free samples β Chorionic gonadotropin(free)-β-HCG level, then input the age, body mass, gestational week, race, past medical history, and serum biomarker values of the pregnant woman into the screening software, and finally calculate the pregnancy Down's screening risk rate.If necessary,high-risk individuals need to cooperate with amniocentesis to extract amniotic fluid cells and analyze chromosomal karyotypes. Results Among 6000 pregnant women,301(5.02%)were screened for Down's syndrome as high-risk.The AFP of the normal pregnant women group is higher than that of the Down's syndrome group and the trisomy 18 syndrome group,free-β-The HCG was lower in the Down's syndrome group and higher in the trisomy 18 syndrome group, with statistically significant differences between the groups(P<0.05).Conclusion As a preliminary screening method,Down's syndrome screening can effectively screen for chromosomal diseases such as Down's syndrome and trisomy 18.It can scientifically process the predicted results and improve the quality of the birth population.
