Comparison of therapeutic effects between hysteroscopic electrocautery and hysteroscopic curettage in the treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of hysteroscopic electrocautery and hysteroscopic curettage in the treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding(AUB).Methods 60 AUB patients admitted to our hospital were selected and divided into two groups according to different treatment methods:hysteroscopic electrocautery group and hysteroscopic curettage group. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The detection rate of etiology in the hysteroscopic electrocautery group was 86.67%,higher than the 80.00%in the hysteroscopic curettage group, but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The incidence of complications in the hysteroscopic electrocautery group was lower than that in the hysteroscopic curettage group, and the surgical time was longer than that in the hysteroscopic electrocautery group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of AUB,both hysteroscopic electrocautery and hysteroscopic curettage have higher rates of pathogen detection. However, hysteroscopic electrocautery has better therapeutic effects and fewer complications, making it worthy of clinical promotion and application.
