The application effect of mind mapping combined with feedback method in PICC health education for gynecological tumor patients
Objective To explore the effect of using mind mapping combined with feedback therapy in patients with gynecological tumors during percutaneous central venous catheterization(PICC)treatment. Methods 60 tumor patients admitted to the gynecology department of our hospital were selected as the research subjects.Divide them into two groups using the random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The conventional group received routine health education, while the experimental group received education based on mind mapping and feedback methods.Analyze the occurrence of catheterization issues,PICC related knowledge mastery rate, and compliance behavior evaluation results of two groups of patients. Results The incidence of complications caused by PICC catheterization in the experimental group was lower than that in the conventional group, and the mastery rate of PICC related knowledge and compliance behavior scores in the experimental group were higher than those in the conventional group(P<0.05).Conclusion The health education course based on mind mapping and feedback method used in PICC health education for gynecological tumor patients can significantly improve the overall catheterization effect, reduce the risk of complications, and is worth promoting.
