The preventive value of timely hysteroscopic examination for intrauterine adhesions after induced abortion and cessation of menstruation
Objective To explore the value of timely hysteroscopy examination in preventing intrauterine adhesions after induced abortion. Methods 12 patients with amenorrhea after artificial abortion were selected as the study subjects, all of whom underwent hysteroscopy examination. They were divided into two groups based on the time of amenorrhea, with 6 cases in each group.Group A is a group of patients who still experience amenorrhea after induced abortion for less than 60 days,Group B is a group of patients who still experience amenorrhea after artificial abortion for more than 60 days.Compare the adhesions in the uterine cavity between two groups. Results The proportion of grade Ⅲ or above uterine adhesions in group B was higher than that in group A(P<0.05).Conclusion Timely hysteroscopy examination after induced abortion can help detect and effectively manage intrauterine adhesions in the early stage, reduce the incidence of moderate to severe intrauterine adhesions, and alleviate their adverse effects.
