The clinical efficacy of tinidazole combined with clindamycin in the treatment of bacterial vaginitis and its impact on the quality of life of patients
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of tinidazole combined with clindamycin in the treatment of bacterial vaginitis and its impact on the quality of life of patients. Methods 100 patients with bacterial vaginitis were selected as the research subjects and randomly divided into two groups, each with 50 cases, using a random number table method. The control group was treated with tinidazole, while the observation group was treated with tinidazole combined with clindamycin. After one week of treatment, compare the clinical efficacy, quality of life, and adverse reactions between the two groups. Results The treatment effectiveness rate of the observation group was 98.00%(49/50),significantly higher than the control group's 86.00%(43/50)(P<0.05).After treatment, the simplified quality of life scale scores in various fields in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).There is no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(x2=0.260,P=0.610).Conclusion The application of tinidazole combined with clindamycin in the treatment of bacterial vaginitis patients can improve the treatment effect, significantly improve the quality of life of patients, and there is no significant increase in uncontrollable adverse reactions. It is worthy of clinical application.
