Exploration of vaginal microbiota in early and late pregnancy
Objective To explore the vaginal microbiota in early and late pregnancy. Methods A total of 60 non pregnant experience women and pregnant women undergoing prenatal examinations were selected as the research subjects in our hospital's prenatal clinic.Among them, there were 20 non pregnant women undergoing physical examinations, and 40 pregnant women undergoing prenatal examinations(20 in early pregnancy and 20 in late pregnancy).Collect vaginal secretions from all subjects for measurement, analyze the microbiology of vaginal flora, and calculate the incidence of vaginitis. Results The incidence rate of vaginitis in non pregnant women was 20.00%;The incidence rate of vaginitis in early pregnancy was 15.00%;The incidence rate of vaginitis in late pregnancy was 10.00%.The incidence of vaginitis in early pregnancy and late pregnancy was lower than that in the control group, and the incidence rate of vaginitis in late pregnancy was lower than that in early pregnancy, but there was no significant difference between the groups(P>0.05).Compared with non pregnant women undergoing physical examinations, vulvovaginal candidiasis increases in early pregnancy, bacterial vaginitis decreases in early and late pregnancy, and aerobic vaginitis also decreases in early and late pregnancy, but there is no statistically significant difference between groups(P>0.05).The pH value of non pregnant women undergoing physical examination was(4.02±1.32),the pH value of early pregnant women was(3.79±0.16),and the pH value of late pregnant women was(3.74±0.11).There was no statistically significant difference between the groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Dysfunction of vaginal microbiota is prone to occur during pregnancy, leading to vaginitis.Regular monitoring of vaginal microbiota is necessary and standardized treatment should be given.
