The effect of early nursing intervention on reducing postoperative abdominal distension in gynecological laparoscopic patients
Objective To explore the application effect of early nursing intervention in reducing the incidence of postoperative abdominal distension in gynecological laparoscopic patients and promoting improvement of abdominal distension. Methods 70 gynecological laparoscopic surgery patients admitted to our hospital were selected as the research subjects, and were randomly divided into two groups using a random number table method, with 35 cases in each group. The control group received basic nursing care, while the research group received early nursing intervention.Compare the incidence, improvement effect, and levels of abdominal distension related indicators between two groups of patients. Results The incidence of postoperative abdominal distension in the control group was 82.86%(29/35),while in the study group it was 60%(21/35).The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of improving abdominal distension in the research group was 90.48%,which was higher than the control group's 65.52%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The recovery time of gastrointestinal peristalsis[8.51±2.09)h],time to get out of bed activity[18.31±1.32)h],time to exhaust[14.38±2.38)h],and length of hospital stay[5.09±0.69)d]in the study group were all shorter than those in the control group[10.26±2.35)h,(22.05±2.95)h,(17.14±3.24)h,(6.39±0.85)d)],and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Early nursing intervention can effectively reduce the incidence of postoperative abdominal distension in gynecological laparoscopic patients, promote the improvement of postoperative abdominal distension, shorten hospital stay, and is worthy of promotion and application.
